The Monarch Order · Boys 11–18* · Los Angeles & online

Not a course. Not a program. An Order.

A brotherhood where boys are taught, tested and made to earn every rank, until they become young men worth following.

Sports build his body. School builds his résumé. But who is building his character? Right now, the loudest voice shaping him may be a feed designed to keep him scrolling.

The Order takes that job back, working alongside you. Every week your son gets three missions: one to sharpen his mind, one to build his body, one to test his character, starting at home. A Mentor checks his work, and every Sunday you get the proof.

Most people expect almost nothing from you. Do your homework, stay out of trouble, get off your phone. That's the whole list.

We expect more. Here you'll be tested in your mind, your body and as a leader, next to brothers who are climbing too. You'll train for survival challenges, Spartan races and the Monarch Games. Nothing is handed to you. Every rank is earned, in public, in front of the people who matter

* Boys as young as 8 are admitted case by case, when they meet the standard. Ask us about your son.

Season One · The Reckoning

Founding seats · 50

Sound familiar?

You already know he's capable of more.

None of this means something is wrong with him. It means nobody has handed him a standard worth meeting. That’s what the Order is for.

I

The promise

Proof, not a feeling.

In 90 days you will have proof that your son can keep his word, hold a standard, and do hard things without being asked.

You’ll see it at home first: the bed made, the homework started, the phone put down without a fight.

Everything else you pay for builds what he does. The Order builds who he is becoming. There is no better investment in him, because it’s the one that compounds for the rest of his life.

II

Monarch

Three disciplines.
One man.

Monarch takes what made great men great, from philosophy, history, war, science and sport, and teaches it to boys week by week until it becomes who they are.

First

Scholar

He reads what the great ones read, and learns to argue, write and think for himself. A mind nobody can lead around by the nose.

Then

Warrior

He trains his body, keeps his word, and stays calm when it counts. A body and a will that don’t quit.

Then

Leader

He takes responsibility, speaks for himself, and brings his brothers with him. A young man others follow.

What he does here

Learn

Each week brings a lesson from the men who shaped history, and a mission to prove he understood it.

Build

Things with his name on them: a project, a venture, a team, and a body that can do more than it could.

Compete

Against himself first. Then in the Arena, in front of his brothers and his family.

Lead

He earns responsibility for others, starting with his own brotherhood.

A brief example

What a week looks like.

Every week is different. This is just a small example of how a week is built. The real missions
change every week, every season, and with every boy.

Two Honors from his first Trial

Mentor's note

He led his brotherhood’s call this week without being asked. Ask him
about it at dinner.

Example only. Every family gets a real report, every Sunday.

III

Who teaches him

Not influencers.
Not lecturers.

His Mentors are coaches and educators who have lived and studied discipline: in the dojo, in the classroom, and in the lives of the men who built the world. They’ve read what the great ones read and trained under pressure. They hold the standard, check his work, and know how to hand a boy discipline without breaking him. They treat your son like a young man, and expect one back.

Every challenge here is hard. None of them is humiliating. Every Mentor is background-checked and trained in our standards.

Once a month

The Seminar

The older boys sit with Arthur and go deep on one subject. It changes every month: a great book, a lesson school never teaches, a piece of research, or an issue young men face today. No slides. The subject, the question and the room.

IV

The Order

Nine ranks. Seven
of them sealed.

Every boy enters as a Rookie. He rises by completing missions, earning Honors and passing a Trial in front of his brothers. A Mentor confers each rank in public. Ranks II through VIII stay sealed until he’s close enough to earn them. The last one is Monarch, and very few get there.

VIII
Rookie
Monarch

A boy learns the name of each sealed rank when he is close enough to earn it.

His brotherhood

8 to 12 boys his age, a Captain among them, a Mentor over them.

His week

Three missions, his proof checked, and a report home every Sunday.

His year

Four seasons, each with its own theme, each ending in the Arena. Season One is The
Reckoning. The other three stay sealed until he gets there.

The game inside the Order

How he climbs.

Crowns

Every mission he completes earns Crowns. Extra effort earns more, and so does helping a brother. Earn enough, and he’s called to his next Trial.

The Chain

Every week he completes all three missions adds a link to his Chain. Miss one and it breaks. The longest Chains earn rare Honors.

Sealed Missions

Hidden missions drop without warning, only for boys who are ready. Nobody knows when the next one is coming.

The Banner

Brotherhoods compete as teams all season. The brotherhood on top carries its banner into the Arena.

Everything he earns shows up in your Sunday report.

V

The Arena

Four trials. His
family in the room.

Four times a year the whole Order gathers, and every boy is tested in front of the people who matter most to him. Every season brings a different main event: a survival challenge, an obstacle race, the Monarch Games, or a trial nobody has seen before. No boy knows which until the season begins. He prepares all season. What he’s made of goes on display.

Strength

Body

Strength, conditioning and grit, with his numbers next to his starting numbers.

The Symposium

Mind

He defends an idea against sharp questions, on his feet.

Leadership

Command

He leads his brothers through a challenge none of them has seen.

Enterprise

The Pitch

He stands up and makes the case for something he built.

VI

By application

He builds
something real.

Ages 14–18 · 12 weeks

The Campaign

Twelve weeks. Four young men, a mentor who has built a company, and a venture started from zero: a product, ten strangers who say yes, a first sale, and a pitch on the floor at the Arena.

By application only. If he’s accepted, we’ll share tuition and next steps.

Ten families · By invitation

The Round Table

Ten families, never more. A research paper or a major venture built over a year, alongside Arthur himself.

Tuition is shared privately, after we speak.

Families

From the families who
know Arthur.

“I was honestly worried about his friends. My son seemed more like a follower than a leader. Arthur completely changed that. He’s more focused on what actually matters for him now. I can’t thank Arthur enough. My son really changed for the better.”

— Sonya, mother of a 14-year-old

“I wanted my son to be more confident in himself, more consistent in everything he did, and more respectful to the people around him, especially his siblings. All of it happened. We watched the change happen in real time, right in front of our eyes.”

— George, father of a 15-year-old

“I look forward to the training and the talks with Coach Arthur and the other coaches every week. My favorite part is the activities they plan for us. They’re challenging, they’re fun, and they ask a lot from us in every way.”

— Johnny, 13

VII

The founder

I’ve worked with pro athletes, military personnel, senior government officials and educators. In every one of those rooms I’ve seen the same thing: young men capable of far more than anyone has asked of them. I built the Monarch Order to ask more of them.

Who he is

Founder, Monarch Order & The Elite Institution

USC faculty, 8 years

Self-defense, self-protection & crisis management

Former No. 1–ranked judoka, USA

Owner & head instructor, Hayastan MMA Academy

1,000+ young people mentored across the U.S.

Arthur has spent his life where discipline gets tested: on the mat as a former No. 1–ranked judoka in the U.S., in the classroom for eight years on USC’s faculty, and in the gym with more than 1,000 young people. The Monarch Order is everything he’s learned about turning boys into men, built into one system.

A message from the founder

I'm building a tribe.

For most of history, a boy didn’t become a man alone. The elders of his tribe took him aside and taught him what they knew: how to think, how to endure, and how to lead the others when the path went dark.

Most boys today never get that. They get a phone, a schedule and a lot of noise, and they’re left to figure out the rest on their own.

The Monarch Order is my answer. I’m building a tribe of boys who think like scholars, train like warriors and lead the pack. Boys who can win an argument and keep their word. Boys who don’t follow the crowd, because they’re the ones it follows.

Not everything here is explained up front. The ranks are sealed. The trials are revealed only when they begin. Some of what he learns, he’ll only understand once he’s earned it. You’ll see every step of his progress in his Sunday report.

What I can promise is this: he will be asked more than he has ever been asked, taught by people who have lived what they teach, and surrounded by brothers who won’t let him settle.

The Order is forming. I’m looking for the first fifty.

1. How much time does it take?

About 1 to 2 hours a week, Saturday sessions included. It’s built to fit around school and sports.

Yes. Every boy is measured against his own starting numbers, not against other boys. The Order needs scholars and leaders as much as athletes.

Most boys arrive unsure. That’s normal, and it’s often the boys who need it most. Give it two weeks. If he isn’t all in, you get every dollar back.

Everything happens in our private online community. Missions arrive there, nearly all the work is done and graded there, and his Crowns, Chain and rank update as he goes. Students and parents are welcome to meet the Order in person at the Gatherings and the Arena.

Yes. Every Mentor is background-checked, boys are supervised at all times, and we keep a healthy coach-to-boy ratio. Every challenge here is hard. None of them is humiliating.
